LANSING, MI (WLNS) – If you’re hitting the roads for the holiday weekend, you’ll find gas prices are on the rise.
According to GasBuddy.com, Michigan drivers are paying an average of $1.94 for a gallon of regular.
Lansing drivers are paying even more, at an average of $1.96. Some stations are at $1.99 or higher, including one station at $2.09. The current national average is the same, at $2.09.
In Jackson, drivers are paying an average of $1.94.
One year ago Lansing drivers were paying an average of $2.18 for a gallon of regular. Two years ago drivers were paying an average of $3.30 per gallon.
