Charlotte City Manager may stay after all

CHARLOTTE, MI. (WLNS) – The current City Manager in Charlotte could be getting another chance at a contract extension.

At Monday’s City Council’s special meeting, members discussed Greg Guetschow’s (Good-Shaw) contract which, just last week, was not extended.

Due to the community’s response, the council is now reconsidering.

The city council plans to meet next week.

They want time to get to know Guetschow before deciding whether to approve a full two year contract.

If a contract extension is not approved, the city would have four months to find a replacement.
