EAST LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – Michigan State University Spartan basketball star Denzel Valentine will miss the next 2-3 weeks as he recovers from minor surgery.
Spartan head coach Tom Izzo told 6 Sports Director Fred Heumann that Valentine had arthroscopic knee surgery this morning.
The surgery will likely sideline Valentine for the start of the Big Ten season.
According to this week’s Associated Press poll the 12-0 Spartans remain the top-ranked team in the country.
We’ll have updates online and on 6 Sports tonight on this developing story.
