Police searching for man they say robbed Rite Aid with knife

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Lansing Police are searching for the man they say robbed a Rite Aid store Thursday night.

It happened around 9 p.m. in the 1000 block of W. Saginaw St. in Lansing at Rite Aid.

Police say a heavyset man wearing a mask robbed the store armed with a knife.

The man got away with some prescription drugs and took off eastbound on Saginaw.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

Police tried to track him down with the help of dogs, but they weren’t able to locate him.

Officials say he was dressed in a black sweatshirt and black jeans. They also say he was wearing brown work boots.
