COLDWATER, MI (WLNS) – Police have found another credit card skimming operation in Michigan, this time at a gas station in Coldwater.
An illegal device to get customers’ credit card information was found Wednesday morning at a Citgo Gas Station.
Our media partners at WWMT say no arrests have been made at this time.
This is the latest in a string of skimming operations in the state.
Police have found 21 skimmers in the past three months, most of them having installed illegal credit card reading devices at gas stations.
Police are encouraging gas station owners to use security tape and other devices to prevent tampering at gas pumps.
