Gas prices dip slightly during past week

LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – Drivers caught a little bit of a break at the gas pump this past week.

According to AAA Michigan the average price of a gallon of gas in the state dropped one penny to $2.34.

That’s about 66 cents less than it was at this time last year.

Gas price watchdog website GasBuddy.com reports that the average price of a gallon of gas in the Lansing area is $2.37.

In Jackson the price of gas has dipped as low as $2.21 per gallon.
