Police searching for bank robbery suspect


LANSING TOWNSHIP, MI (WLNS) – Officials are searching for a man after they say he robbed a PNC Bank in Lansing.

It happened around 5 p.m. Friday in the 3800 block of W. Saginaw, near N. Waverly Road.

Officials were told a white man came into the bank and demanded money at one of the teller stations.

Once he received money, he left the bank on foot.

Police investigated and ended up going to the 900 block of Robins Road in Delta Twp. Lansing Police, Lansing Twp. Police and Eaton County Sheriff’s officials searched the area, but did not find the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white man, 30-40 years old, 6 feet tall and about 190 pounds. At the time of the robbery officials say he was wearing a dark colored sweatshirt with a hood, light colored pants and sunglasses.
