Man shot in the head in Calhoun Co. expected to survive

CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. (WLNS) – In Calhoun County police are looking to find and arrest the person who they say shot a 40-year-old man early Sunday morning.

According to our media partners at the Jackson Citizen Patriot, police were called to the 800 block of North Monroe Street in the north- east part of Albion.

When they got there, police say they found a 40-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head.

The victim is expected to survive his injuries.

As of now police say they don’t think the shooting was random and happened following an argument.
