DURAND, Mich (WLNS) – Repair crews are working to clear the railroad tracks after a train derailed near Durand overnight.
According to CN spokesman Patrick Waldron, the 155-car CN train was traveling west between Port Huron and Battle Creek when 14 cars went off the tracks.
Several streets were blocked until crews could clear crossings.
The train was carrying finished automobiles but there is no report of the extent of damage to the cars.
Waldron told 6 News that there were no injuries.
