HILLSDALE CO., Mich (WLNS) – It’s a combination of a quick response by police officers and being in the wrong place at the wrong time for burglary suspects and the end result is four people behind bars today.
It all began early this morning when troopers from the Michigan State Police post in Jackson and Hillsdale County Sheriff’s deputies were responding to a burglar alarm at a home in Amboy Township.
While driving to the scene deputies passed a pickup truck loaded with a bed full of items.
They stopped the truck and, while troopers were at the home where the burglary had happened, confirmed that the four people in the truck were connected with the break-in.
Arrested is a 43-year-old woman from Montpelier, Ohio, a 23-year-old man from Pioneer, Ohio and another 23-year-old Kunkle, Ohio man. A 17-year-old man from Camden, Michigan was also arrested.
The four are expected to be arraigned today for the burglary and possession of stolen property.
