Lansing Police search for drugstore armed robber

LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – Lansing Police are searching for a suspect who they say robbed a drug store at gunpoint just before 6:30 a.m. this morning.

6 News is told the suspect walked into a Walgreens on the 400 block of East Jolly Road and pulled a gun on an employee.

The suspect demanded money and merchandise from the employee. He then left the store and fled on foot.

Police began to track the suspect with a K-9 team but were unable to locate the man.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-four-inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a red stocking hat with a brim, black and white checkered jacket and blue jeans.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call 9-1-1.
