Officials: Teen charged after bringing gun to school

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – A 17-year-old is facing felony charges after officials say he brought a gun to school.

Kian Malkiak Miller is charged with one count of weapons-carrying concealed and one count of weapons-free schools-possessing weapon. Both charges are felonies. Miller’s bond is set at $2,500.

Miller’s pre-exam conference is scheduled for later in October. His preliminary hearing will be in November.
