Former President Bill Clinton coming to East Lansing

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – Former President Bill Clinton plans to visit Michigan State University next month to be honored for his service to the American people.

On November 18th university officials say they’ll give our nation’s 42nd president the Spartan Statesmanship Award for Distinguished Public Service.

The award recognized his public service in politics and his work through the Clinton Foundation, which looks to improve global health, increase opportunities for girls and woman, reduce childhood obesity, address climate change and much more.

In addition to receiving a cash prize, former President Clinton will speak in a series of lectures.
