Power restored after about 1,500 see the lights go out in East Lansing

UPDATE (2:27 p.m.) – Power has been restored to all customers. BWL officials say a tree took down a primary line.

EAST LANSING, MI (WLNS) – They are currently about 1,500 people without power in East Lansing.

The Lansing Board of Water and Light is aware and working on the situation. Power restoration times are unknown at this time.

East Lansing Police are providing traffic assistance at as many intersections as possible. Any stop lights out should be treated as a four-way stop.
