LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – The cat found pierced by a crossbow bolt earlier this week continues to improve.
According to the Capital Area Humane Society’s Facebook page “Booger” the cat spent some time with a family member today.
While Booger is still in good spirits, he has a slight fever this morning. The wonderful veterinary staff is monitoring him closely.
There is now a reward of $2,100 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who shot the cat.
He was found earlier this week under a porch and was taken to Eaton County Humane Society.
Booger was then taken to the Capital Area Humane Society and veterinarians were able to remove the bolt that had pierced the cat’s chest.
