NEW YORK (WLNS) – Officials at the United Nations in New York are under scrutiny after claims by a U.S. prosecutor state that a former general assembly president accepted more than a million dollars in bribes.

According to reports, the bribes were organized into a platform for profit.

The allegations state that officials accepted gifts and helped pave the way for business deals around the world.

That prosecutor is now looking into the United Nations to determine if bribery is business as usual.
