Construction to tie up traffic on Mt. Hope Rd.

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Local drivers can expect some tie-ups beginning next week.

The city of Lansing Public Service Department will be resurfacing Mt. Hope between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Pattengill Avenue.

The work begins Wednesday and will lead to lane closures in the area.

The road will be closed completely beginning on Tuesday while crews will asphalt and lay the new pavement.

The work should be finished by October 20. Detours will be in place until then.
