UPDATE: Power restored after outage hits Grand Ledge area

UPDATE 8:30am – According to the Consumers Energy outage map the power has been restored to the 2100 people blacked out this morning.

GRAND LEDGE, Mich (WLNS) – The power is out for about 2100 people in the Grand Ledge area.

The outage began just before 6:30am in the area near the intersection of M-43 and M-100.

According to the Consumers Energy outage map repairs are being made and power should be returned around 10:30am.

It’s not known what caused the outage.

The Eaton County Sheriff’s Office remind drivers to treat all intersections as four-way stops and to drive carefully.
