Lansing Police make arrest in Thursday home invasion

LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – Lansing Police have arrested a man in connection with a home invasion Thursday that turned into a tense situation on the city’s southwest side.

Police were called to the 4800 block of Anson Street after receiving a call that there had been a home invasion and the suspect was still inside the home.

When they arrived they surrounded the house but the suspect was not inside.

Investigators were able to track the suspect to East Lansing where he was arrested last night.

The 21-year-old Lansing man is being held on outstanding warrants and will likely be arraigned on additional charges from Thursday’s incident next week.
