GRAND LEDGE, MI (WLNS) – Current and former AT&T employees spent the day giving back to the community.
Members of the AT&T Michigan Pioneers handed out 125 backpacks filled with school supplies to students in Grand Ledge Public Schools.
Supplies include folders, paper, pencils and other things that students need.
They also got some help from some local lawmakers.
“I think it really does have a positive impact on the community,” said State Rep. Tom Barrett (R – Potterville).
The AT&T Pioneers are both active employees and retirees who volunteer their personal time to help out in their local communities.
