Central Michigan gets boost for indoor baseball facility

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (AP) – Central Michigan says its baseball program is getting a boost for its indoor training facility project.

The Mount Pleasant school says Monday an anonymous donor gave $500,000 in support of the Performance Development Center project, which will bring the facility to Theunissen Stadium.

In addition, the donor has pledged another $500,000 in matching support toward all new commitments made to the Performance Development Center.

The school says the donations and anticipated matching gifts will meet the project’s fundraising goal and represent the biggest gift to the school’s baseball program.
