State lawmakers looking at medical marijuana bills

(WLNS) – State lawmakers are considering bills regarding how medical marijuana is grown, sold and taxed in Michigan.

According to our media partners at MLive the bills would give more power to local communities and the state to regulate the distribution of medical marijuana as well as adding an 8 percent tax to medical marijuana sales.

Critics of the bills say patients would end up paying more to make up for the regulations.
