Clean-up after storms roar through area

LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – Clean-up continues today after fast moving storms rolled through some parts of mid-Michigan last night.

In Ingham County strong winds toppled trees and knocked-out power.

Heavy downpours caused flooding in some areas, as well.

Holt was one of the hardest hit areas.

There the storm knocked down dozens of trees, causing hundreds to lose power.

Those outages have been fixed and because of flooding in the area Holt Junior High School has been closed for today.
