LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – As you head out in the Lansing area today there are some repair projects getting underway.
Beginning today the Lansing Board of Water and Light will be doing some pavement work at the intersection of West Saginaw Street and Chestnut Street.
Because of that West Saginaw will be narrowed to one lane and Chestnut near the intersection will be completely closed down for one week.
Meanwhile the River Trail between Moores Park and Elm Street will be closed indefinitely.
Officials say the trail needs repairs.
Detours will be posted for both closings.
