DEWITT, MI (WLNS) – The historic Old US-27 Motor Tour stopped in DeWitt Wednesday on its way to Cheboygan.
The trip aims to recreate the good old days of scenic summer vacation trips up north in the family cruiser.
The classic cars taking part in the tour will be on display at each tour stop and people are coming from across the state and across the country to take part in the fun.
“We’ll be doing thirteen cities in six days from Coldwater to Cheboygan, this is the overnight stop tonight in Lansing and then tomorrow we’ll be heading to 5 cities, from St. John’s all the way to Clare,” said Craig Parrish, show director, Michigan Old US-27 Motor Tour.
“It’s great to welcome so many people, people have come from all over the Midwest, from North Carolina, from Pennsylvania, so for them to come out to our community, experience a little bit of what we have here, and hopefully come back here again,” said Julie Pingston, senior VP, Greater Lansing Convetion and Visitors Bureau.
