(WLNS) — If you think you need machines and weights to get a good work out in at home, think again!
This week Mariah Harrison and Work It Out Wednesday Walter show you how to workout in with a common household object, a chair.
The first move is called The Seated Russian Twist.
The twist works your abs and obliques as you lean back in the chair and twist from side to side.
The second move is called the Highstepper.
The step gets your heart rate up and works your glutes and quads as you alternate feet and step onto the base of the chair.
To add an extra challenge engage the knees and add a high knee lift when stepping on to the chair.
Remember, choose a nice sturdy chair to use without wheels.
