Lansing man arrested after robbery

LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – A Lansing man has been arrested in Tennessee in connection with a local robbery that took place Monday.

Police say the 24-year-old suspect pushed his way into a house on the 200 block of East Jackson Street just after 2:00 p.m.

The victim, a 75-year-old woman, tells police that the suspect pushed his way into her house and attacked her, stole money and then took her car.

The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police say she is in stable condition.

Witnesses gave information to police that led to the arrest of the suspect in Knoxville, Tennessee.
