UPDATE: 9:05 a.m. – Power is mostly restored for Consumers Energy customers in mid-Michigan. According to the Consumers Energy outage map there are two small pockets where power is still being restored. The Lansing Board of Water and Light outage map shows fewer than 50 customers without power at this time.
UPDATE: 6:15 a.m. – Power for Consumers Energy customers is being restored. There are currently about 3400 people still without power. Consumers Energy is expecting power to be back up for all their customers before noon today.
LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – Many people in Ingham County will be waking up to no power this morning.
Consumers Energy is reporting more than 9,000 of their customers are without power this morning.
Most of the affected customers are in the Holt area.
There are also about 400 customers in Eaton County without power. No word when power there will be restored.

The Lansing Board of Water and Light is reporting about 50 customers without power. The repairs are expected to be completed today.

Police remind drivers that there are many intersections without working traffic lights. Those intersections should be treated a four-way stops. Use caution and do not drive into standing water.
