MACKINAW CITY, MI (WLNS) – After a child’s doll was found on the dock, the Arnold Mackinac Island Ferry took to Facebook to help reunite the two.

Employees named the doll “Dolly,” then they began posting pictures of her journey to the Arnold Mackinac Island Facebook page.

According to the Facebook page, the doll was found on the dock last week. Since then she’s helped out with valet cars, luggage carts, giving directions and ticket sales.

Dolly also had the chance to see the Ottawa passing by on Lake Huron and enjoy a kiddie cocktail on the Isle Royal Queen III.

If you lost Dolly in the Arnold Mackinaw City parking lot on or before July 15 or you know who the owner is, you’re asked to message the Arnold Mackinac Island Ferry on Facebook at www.facebook.com/arnoldtransitco or call 1-800-542-8528.

We welcome thoughts and comments from our viewers. We ask that everyone keep their remarks civil and respectful. Postings that contain profanity, racist, or potentially libelous remarks will be deleted. We will delete any commercial postings, as well.
