LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)—A 17-year-old girl who helped recruit five teenagers into prostitution is heading to prison.
A judge Wednesday sentenced Mariah Haughton to four to 20 years in prison for human trafficking.
Prosecutors say the victims Haughton helped traffic were as young as 15 years.
Haughton was one of three people charged in connection to the sex trafficking ring that was busted in Lansing last fall.
The investigation included federal, county and local law enforcement.
