MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich (WLNS) – A man who fired shots at officers is heading to prison.
A judge Wednesday sentenced Timothy Arrington to at least 18 months in prison for the January 3 incident.
Michigan State Police said Arrington fired a rifle at an officer who arrived at his Meridian Township home for a domestic assault call.
The officer returned fire and called for backup.
No one was hurt.
Arrington previously pleaded guilty to two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, wearing body armor during a violent crime, domestic violence and possession of firearms while under the influence.
