EAST LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Every year some of our nation’s bravest individuals choose to serve in the military and one of those brave souls will be in East Lansing later today to talk about the Army.
Brigadier General Malcolm Frost will be at the ROTC building at Michigan State University for a round table discussion to talk about that state of the nation’s Army. He will also touch on current and future initiatives.
General Frost serves as the Chief of Public Affairs for the U.S. Army at the Pentagon. He has been serving our country since 1988. According to the Department of Defense, the Army currently has more than 400,000 enlisted soldiers and a little fewer than 90,000 active officers. The U.S. Army also makes up nearly 38 percent of the nations military. The Navy makes up roughly 23 percent.
