Summer camp participants take part in outdoor activities on Capitol lawn

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – It is going to be a kid filled day at the state capitol building.

Later this morning more than 1,000 children from Parks and Recreation summer camps will take part in outdoor activities on the front lawn.

There will be 27 different outdoor recreation and nature education activities planned. This event is also part of a celebration of July as National Parks and Recreation month. The event is from 10 to 2 p.m.
