Deals with Iran nuclear program progressing slowly

(WLNS) – Negotiations to strike a deal to curb a nuclear program in Iran are progressing slowly.

Secretary of State John Kerry has been working on this deal for months now. The U.S. and some allied countries are prepared to lift some economic sanctions on Iran if Iran agrees to stop building up its nuclear program,

Officials hope to have a deal on the table to present to Congress by the end of the week but say it is a day-by-day discussion before the Friday deadline.
