LANSING, MI (WLNS) – A mid-Michigan favorite kicks off tonight in downtown Lansing, the Common Ground Musical Festival. This year’s line-up includes some big names ready to rock the capital city for one week, but one performer many were looking forward to backed out last minute.
Meghan Trainor was supposed to headline the first night of Common Ground but had to cancel due to health problems. You can now use your single day Tuesday ticket for any other day of the festival or get a full refund.
Plenty of other artists will be in town tonight. Bea Miller will still kick things off on the main stage. The festival has also added Joshua Davis, the mid-Michigan musician who made it to the finals of “The Voice” as the headliner tonight.
There are some changes on the GM Pavilion stage. “Who is Fancy” has cancelled but “The Specktators Collective” and “Skizzy Mars” will be performing. Four acts will take the Sparrow Stage tomorrow including these acts and bands with headliner “Flint Eastwood.”
We have a link in our Seen on 6 section with more information.
Common Ground starts tonight and runs through Sunday.
