City Council votes to retain Ross and McCloud of BWL

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Today the Lansing City Council will vote to introduce and retain two members of the BWL.

The council will look to appoint Ken Ross and reappoint Anthony McCloud.

Both of their terms would expire in four years since the historic ice storm in December 2013 left thousands of BWL customers without power, some for more than a week. There have been several investigations into how the board is managed.

In January the board’s then general manager Peter Lark was unexpectedly fired  six months after signing a new contract.

We welcome thoughts and comments from our viewers. We ask that everyone keep their remarks civil and respectful. Postings that contain profanity, racist, or potentially libelous remarks will be deleted. We will delete any commercial postings, as well.
