YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, MI (WLNS) – A teenager accused of stealing a car while posing as an FBI agent has been charged in Michigan.

Our media partners at MLive say the 17-year-old has been arraigned in Washtenaw County on one count of unlawfully driving a car. He’s accused of taking a Dodge Charger from a dealer in Ypsilanti Township in May.

The teen claimed to be a federal agent who had moved to the area and needed a car. Police say he grabbed the keys and drove away when employees at the car dealership became suspicious.

He crashed the car in Lucas County, Ohio. He has a long record in Juvenile Court.
