EAST LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Today the Michigan State University Board of Trustees will meet to discuss several proposals.

One of the items on the agenda is a smoking free ordinance that would prohibit smoking and the use of tobacco products on campus.

Back in February 6 News reported that MSU formed a task force to put forward the idea of a tobacco-free campus.

The board will also look at next school year’s budget, including tuition rates. They will also look at the contracts of three head coaches including Tom Izzo and the University’s Athletic Director, Mark Hollis.
