Gov. Snyder to sign state budget plan

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Governor Rick Snyder is expected to sign a new state budget today.

Earlier this month Michigan lawmakers approved a $54 billion plan with approximately 76 percent of that money going towards education and health services.

The budget will also put an additional $400 million towards fixing and maintaining our roads.

6 News Capitol Correspondent Tim Skubick is working this story today and he will breakdown all of the details tonight on 6 News.
