UPDATE: Service restored after cut fiber line interrupts calls

UPDATE: As of 6:07 p.m. 911 service has been restored.

DEWITT CHARTER TOWNSHIP, MI (WLNS) – A cut fiber line has some people unable to call 911 or dial outside of their county.

Areas affected include portions of Clinton County. If you need to call 911 and can’t get through, you can contact your local fire department to request police, fire or emergency assistance.
