Red Cross Hosts 100 Days of Summer, 100 Days of Hope Campaign

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, MI (WLNS) – Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. That is according to the American Red Cross.

Today in Meridian Township officials are hoping to see plenty of it for their blood drive.

From 10 this morning until 3 this afternoon Red Cross officials encourage you to visit the Meridian Municipal building and roll-up your sleeves.

Blood donations typically slow down during the summer months.

Officials are hoping that will not be the case with their “100 Days of Summer, 100 Days of Hope” campaign.
