Medical Health Care Hack Could Affect Some In Detroit

(WLNS) – The FBI’s investigating a cyber-attack on a Fort Wayne, Indiana company with clients in the Detroit area.

According to officials the medical software company Medical Info-matics Engineering says thieves accessed their main network between May 7th and the 26 and stole names, addresses, social security numbers and health records from an unknown amount of people.

Company officials say they are contacting affected patients.
