Senate Will Spend 30 Days In Session This Summer

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – The Michigan Senate Majority Floor Leader has announced the senate will be in session throughout the summer.

Senator Mike Kowall, senate majority floor leader says it’s necessary.

“The hardworking taxpayers of this state expect us to put in the time necessary to complete our work. The new schedule I am releasing today reflects our commitment to hard work and results,” said Senator Mike Kowall, (r), White Lake.

Senator Kowall goes on to say he does not think the senate can accomplish their goals without the extra days.

Senate will be in session from June 16-18, June 23-25, June 30, July 1-2, July 7-9, July 14-16, July 21-23, August 11-13, August 18-30, August 25-27 and September 1-3.
