(MASON, Mi) DEVELOPING 11:15 a.m. – The fate of accused murderer Ricard Taylor now lies in the hands of the fourteen member jury.
This is day four of the trial and both attorneys presented their closing arguments.
Assistant Prosecuting attorney John Dewayne says this case comes down to common sense, pointing to police and doctor interviews and what Taylor left out.
Dewayne says pharmacist Michael Addo and Jordan Rogers were killed because they angered him, not because they were werewolves or delusions.
Meanwhile, defense attorney Keith Watson says there’s no argument Ricard Taylor was a paranoid schizophrenic, but his change of stories shows how insane he was at the time he pulled the trigger.
6 News reporter Nick Perreault is in the courtroom and will have updates online and on 6 News.
