MSU Commencement

EAST LANSING, MI (WLNS) – The days of pop quizzes, homework and exams are over for thousands of Michigan State University students. They are getting ready to walk across the stage at the Breslin Center to become Michigan State Alumni.

Nearly 5,000 undergrads and 2300 graduate students, along with their friends and family will take over the Breslin and Wharton centers this weekend. Spring undergraduate convocation starts at 1 p.m. with speaker and MSU alumnus Bob Chapek, Chairperson of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. The advanced degree convocation starts at 3:30.

If you cannot make it and would like to follow either ceremony, MSU will live tweet and invite Twitter users to follow along using the hashtag #MSUGrad15. If you do plan to be there in person administrators are asking attendees to leave their large cameras, food and drinks, noisemakers, and signs at home.
