Lansing Hosts Annual Walk-A-Mile In My Shoes

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – This afternoon in Lansing, nearly 3,000 people are converging at the Capitol to walk and support mental health awareness.

It is part of the 11th annual Walk-A-Mile In My Shoes Rally. The event works to put an end to stigmas related to behavioral health and developmental disabilities.

Former MSU basketball player Anthony Ianni will address the crowds. Ianni is the first known athlete with autism to play division 1 basketball.

The rally starts at 1:30 in the front lawn of the State Capitol.
