Supporters, Survivors Ready To Race For The Cure

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – On Sunday, thousands of people will hit the pavement in downtown Lansing wearing plenty of pink.

It is time for the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

Officials are trying to raise $100,000 to help find a cure for breast cancer and help women battling the disease here in our community.

The race starts at 2 p.m. Sunday at the State Capitol. 6 News anchor Sheri Jones is one of the emcees for the event. Stop and say “hello” when you see her!
