Lansing Police Identify Thursday Homicide Victim

(WLNS) – The Lansing Police Department has identified the victim in Thursday’s homicide.

According to Lansing Police Public Information Officer Robert Merritt, the victim is 39-year-old Mathew Straub. Officers were called to a house on the 600 block of Fenton Street just after 11:00 a.m. Thursday. The victim was found inside the house. There is still no information available on the cause of death.

This is the second homicide in Lansing this year.
