(WLNS) – It’s taken nearly five years but a suspect has been arrested in an East Lansing homicide dating back to 2010.
East Lansing Police tell 6 News that 22-year-old Montrell Morgan of Lansing was arraigned today and now faces four charges, including open murder. Morgan was arrested in connection with a homicide that happened on December 11, 2010 in Bath Township.
According to police, on that date they were called to the 3600 block of Coleman Road in Bath Township after receiving reports of shots having been fired. When they arrived they found 20-year-old Adrian House of Detroit inside a car. He was dead of gunshot wounds. Several people were seen running from the car. East Lansing Police add that, at the time, witnesses said other vehicles, including the one in which House was found, were involved in a confrontation on the road and several gunshots were heard.
Morgan is being held in the Ingham County Jail with no bond.
