Do You Know This Man? Jackson Co. SD Asks For Help In Cold Case

Jackson Cold Case

(WLNS) – The original call came in on August 25, 1986. A body had been found in a field near Wamplers Lake Road and Deer Ridge Road in Jackson County’s Norvell Township. Since then the investigation has turned into a cold case.

Recently DNA samples and dental records were collected and sent on to a Law Enforcement Database. There are also descriptions of the victim, including an artist’s rendition of the victim and what he was wearing when he was found.

The victim’s description:

– White male
– 23-35 years of age
– 5’8” to 6’ tall
– 150-170 pounds
– Medium length blonde hair

When found the victim was wearing:

– Tie dyed short sleeve t-shirt
– Tan corduroy trousers/pants
– Black leather belt with red design
– White socks
– Black & White tennis shoes with Velcro closures
